Northeast Cooling was featured in Crains Chicago!

Northeast Cooling Was a Featured Business!

Northeast Cooling was featured in Crain’s Chicago Business Journal!

We’ve hoped that you have noticed our efforts online.  As a Chicago commercial refrigeration service, repair, and sales company…Northeast Cooling has tried to reach our customers and potential customers in a nontraditional way.  We’ve completely immersed our business in social media networks like Twitter and Facebook, and have utilized our blog to provide relevant and helpful information about commercial coolers, freezers, and refrigeration.

Most people might not think that a company who offers commercial freezer repairs can utilize social media to help drive awareness and results.  But we have prided ourselves on taking a careful and patient approach to social media.  This type of marketing is not a quick easy solution to drive sales, and we’ve tried to use social media as a way to truly connect with customers, not just talk about ourselves.  Our Facebook page features tips for Chicago businesses to save energy and money.  Our Refrigeration Twitter account is primarily used for conversations with local Chicago folks and spreading news about upcoming events.

We’re glad that our hard work has been noticed.  We were so delighted and proud to be mentioned in the Crain’s Chicago Business, August second edition titled, “Feeding The Social-Media Beast Can Suck The Life Out of You And Your Business”.  I was mentioned with a few quotes and really happy the way the article came out.  The article provides some good insights about how using social media can help a business, but also some excellent tips for not becoming overwhelmed by the activity.

Here’s the article, “Feeding the social-media beast can suck the life out of you and your business“, let us know what you think!  (Note:  You need a Crain’s subscription to see it).  Contact me if you’d like for more details and I can send you my section.

For other tips on how your restaurant can save energy and money, be sure to follow Refrigeration on  Twitter, and Fan Northeast Cooling on Facebook.
