Chicago Restaurant Week Is Coming

Chicago Restaurant Week Is Coming

Obviously we’re a big fan and supporter of the Chicago restaurant community.  Northeast Cooling has hosted a few events and meet-ups around town and gone to many others.  But the Super Bowl of Chicago restaurant events is coming!! The epic Chicago Restaurant Week will be running February 18-27, 2011.

We have many friends in the industry and couldn’t be happier to see them show off their amazing talents to such a big crowd.  If you’re unfamiliar with what Chicago Restaurant Week is, it’s a giant ten day event celebrating Chicago as a world class dining destination.  Produced by the Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau (CCTB) ,

Of course we already knew that Chicago has one of the absolute best restaurant community’s in the world, now we’re excited the city gets to show off a bit.

Last year was the most successful year yet, with 177 restaurants participating and 335,000 diners bringing in over 11.6 million dollars in revenue…and 2011 looks to be even bigger.  This year, over 200 restaurants are participating.

Each day, the participating restaurants will offer a prix fixe lunch and/or dinner menus.  Prices start at $22 for lunch and $33 to $44 for dinner.  If you’re planning on checking it out, like we are, you’re highly encouraged to get reservations ahead of time as they are expecting a big big crowd.  You can get reservations by visiting Choosechicago.com or calling your participating restaurant of choice for reservations.
