On 2/24/10 I had the pleasure of attending another great tweetup. This event was organized and hosted by Sami Ari (@tokyofan on twitter). The event was held at Murasaki (@MurasakiChicago on twitter). The mood was definitely festive. Drinks were flowing and there were great treats provided by @ChiBeardPapa and @garrettpopcorn.
During the course of the night I had the opportunity to meet people face to face that I have chatted with on twitter! It’s always fun to finally meet people that you get to know on twitter first. Social media is a great way to connect with people on line and then in real life. The actual meet ups are what the real social in social media is all about! Thanks again to Sami and Murasaki Lounge.
