With Thanksgiving looming only a day away, and copious amounts of turkey, stuffing, poatotes, countless desserts, and a nice cool beer or two awaiting us, some may be wondering what holiday fun will be on the agenda in and around Chicago to keep the family busy.  Once your tryptophan induced coma has subsided, you can be sure that Chicago is ready and waiting to share a cornucopia (note the Thanksgiving vernacular) of events and activities. Ice. Cold. Beer. Brings a smile to my face. One of the most important jobs we do here at Northeast Cooling is keeping the beer in Chicago nice and cold. Whether its commercial bottle coolers, keg coolers, or warehouse beer storage coolers we've got ya covered! Refrigeration is essential to beer and beer can be essential to a happy work week!  Even Benjamin Franklin is said to have been an avid beer drinker. The proclamation “God, created beer because He wants us to be happy,” is attributed to him! This may be a misquote, but a positive sentiment nonetheless. End of Summer Activities and Events in Chicago

End of Summer Fun in Chicago! Back to school season is upon us and the summer is just about to draw to a close. So what can you do to squeeze out that last bit of summer fun? Luckily, we’re having some gorgeous weather, so that allows for all kinds of park and forest preserve activities.   Here are some activities happening around Chicago in the coming weeks to enjoy as the summer winds down. On August 30th you can enjoy free Gyros in Chicago. You pick the place and time! You’ll need to sign up and print your coupon here or here. As we move into September there is Cabernet Day Chicago at the RedHead Piano Bar on September 1st.  $15 gets you a variety of wines to taste and some fine music to enjoy. Also on September 1st is the Free Hot Summer Nights Music and Dancing event at Chicago Botanic Gardens if you happen to be in the suburbs. Orqesta Con Son will play Latin music. Again this year, Northeast Cooling is proud to work with Leyla Arsan of Lotus Marketing Services and ING DIRECT in sponsoring their upcoming event, Downtown Dash! Northeast Cooling is the hardest working commercial refrigeration repair outfit in town and that means we are also the hardest playing outfit in town. A perfect event for us to sponsor! Downtown Dash is an Urban Scavenger Hunt like no other! Where else can you compete with your virtual friends in real time and in real life?  Two person teams will utilize Foursquare and Twitter to receive clues and complete physical challenges for this urban scavenger hunt.
